"Women are 16 times more intuitive than men"- Yogi Bhajan.
Nicole comes to Bergamot as a seeker of spirituality through all aspects of life. She worked in the medical sales industry for 12 years, after a college career of Division I Soccer. In this marginally more masculine world of competition and achievement, she finds her place and extreme feminine creativity through meditation, pranayam, asana, chanting, singing, and dancing. She originally found yoga in 2000 while traveling the world and seeking something bigger. She has years of experience as an ashtanga, hatha and vinyasa yoga practitioner and truly found her deep love for the Eight Limbs of Yoga through her Kundalini yoga certification in 2009.
She has recently completed the Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga Certification in NYC with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa and is excited to share these in depth teachings to support and magnify the joy and balance of pregnancy as well as help women connect within, and prepare for the journey of motherhood. In her free time she enjoys surfing, traveling, snowboarding, dancing, hiking, family, and basking in the love and unity within this amazing community.
Nicole’s prenatal classes at Bergamot will provide Mom’s to Be the time to harness that profound intuition in preparation for labor, birth, and mothering, using yoga, meditations, kegels, Pilates, and mental “keep up” exercises. Plus homemade chai tea, cookies, and chatting after class to get to know other Mamas!
